Aperitivo — Signature Blue Hydrangea & Orange Arrangement

Named for the golden hour drink that inspired it — deep blue and vivid orange in one bold, painterly arrangement. Dense true-blue hydrangeas form the base, punctuated with orange spray roses, orange gerbera daisies, flame-orange gloriosa lilies, coral calla lilies, and fresh orange fruit (halved and whole navel oranges plus tiny kumquats on the branch). Arranged in a silver mercury-glass compote and finished with our coral ICON ribbon.

Why we made it

Blue and orange is one of the classic complementary color pairings, but it's rarely done in flowers because true blue is hard to source and orange skews easily into bright rather than sophisticated. Aperitivo leans into the pairing on purpose — the citrus fruit grounds the palette in something edible and Mediterranean, the gloriosa and calla lilies add flame-shaped movement, and the silver compote keeps the whole thing feeling like a still life rather than a bouquet.

Care + delivery

Delivered fully arranged in the silver compote. Keep out of direct sun and away from heat. Top up water every two days; oranges and kumquats can be removed after a few days as they soften. With care, the flowers last 5–7 days. Same-day delivery available throughout San Francisco.
